I graduated from university in 2020. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, my career experienced a brief hiatus; however, I was fortunate enough to secure remote work concentrating on rendering and design. These first projects were realized in 2021-2022.

In January 2022, I moved to the Netherlands, and shortly after, in February, I started my first job as a Junior Designer at Scheldebouw B.V., part of the Permasteelisa Group. Scheldebouw specializes in aluminium and glazed unitised façades, designing, engineering, fabricating, and installing high-performance building envelopes. Most of their projects are high-rise buildings across Northern Europe, with some located in the United States as well.
My role involved detailing and engineering unitised façade panels, including developing complex connection details that were coordinated with the structural drawings of the building. During my time at Scheldebouw, I had the honour of contributing to the One Olympia project in London, designed by Heatherwick Studio. I also assisted in preparing and developing the 1:1 scale Visual Mock-Up, which was presented in Middelburg to the visiting commission from Heatherwick Studio.
In 2023, I moved to ’s-Hertogenbosch, which also meant a change of workplace. That is when I started working at J.M. van Delft & Zn in Drunen, where I still work today (2025). I work as a Designer and Planner for long-term aluminium projects. The company focuses on the design, production, and installation of curtain walls and window systems in aluminium and steel, mainly for projects within the Netherlands.
My job involves designing and engineering curtain wall and window elements, as well as developing their constructive details. I am also responsible for the work preparation prior to production, which includes purchasing, planning, and creating production drawings. Additionally, I provide support for any questions that arise during production or installation until the project is fully completed.
Some of the projects I am currently working on include The Bridge in Amsterdam, Sea Tower in Zoetermeer, Nuva Keukens in Someren, and Katshoek in Rotterdam, among several others.
